This notice explains how we process the personal data of visitors to leopardiholidayhome.it and of people who contact us, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

2. What data we process

Browsing data

The systems that run this website collect, during normal operation, certain technical data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols: IP address, browser type and operating system, date and time of the request, requested page, server response code. This data is used only to ensure the correct functioning and security of the website (for example against cyber attacks) and is not used to identify users.

Data you provide

The website does not contain any data collection forms. If you email us, call us or contact us on WhatsApp, we process the data you voluntarily provide (name, contact details, dates of stay, number of guests and the content of your message) in order to reply to your request.

Data collected by law when you stay with us

If you stay at our property, Italian law requires us to collect the identity document details of all guests and to report them to the Public Security Authority through the Alloggiati Web portal (Art. 109 T.U.L.P.S.), as well as the data needed for the tourist tax and tax obligations. This data is processed solely to fulfil these obligations.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Operation and security of the website: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Replying to your enquiries and booking requests: pre-contractual measures or performance of a contract to which you are a party (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Legal obligations (guest registration, tax and accounting obligations): legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).
• Loading external content such as the Google Maps map: your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Methods and retention

Data is processed electronically with appropriate security measures. We keep it only for as long as necessary: browsing data for the technical period set by the hosting provider; correspondence for the time needed to handle your request and any stay; tax and accounting data for the periods required by law (usually 10 years). Data sent to the Alloggiati Web portal is not kept by the controller beyond what the law requires.

5. Recipients and transfers

Data may be processed by providers acting as processors or as independent controllers:

• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and delivery (Cloudflare Pages), security and attack protection.
• WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta): if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp, the service is governed by the WhatsApp privacy policy, acting as an independent controller.
• Google Ireland Ltd.: only if you consent to loading the map.
• Public authorities, accountants and advisers, within the limits of legal obligations.

Some of these providers may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Data is not disclosed to the public or used for marketing or profiling purposes.

6. Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and object to processing (Articles 15-22 GDPR), and withdraw any consent given without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
